about
Singer/songwriter, producer, sound engineer, philosopher, videographer, multi-instrumentalist Jahna Sebastian, who plays piano, domra and many other instruments, releases her thought provoking new single "How Did We Get Here?" written, recorded, produced, arranged, performed and mixed by Ms. Sebastian at her studio Multivizion Music. This release comes from her highly anticipated new album 'Revelation Ships'. This powerful new project will be her third album. 'Revelation Ships' is the third chapter of the Musical Book that Ms. Sebastian is writing to document our times and the history of humanity through her music and artistic work.
Ms. Sebastian is a highly educated scholar who has studied ancient civilizations all of her life, from early years at school, all the way through university, where she received her Master's Degree. The raven haired beauty has recently travelled throughout Europe and the UK, making a lot of educational travel notes, posting videos she has filmed and edited. She used this opportunity to share with her audience all the historical places she has visited. She wants her audience to get a true feel of her travels and she documents these events with such precision and accuracy.
Ms. Sebastian sees 2022 as the year of major changes in the world. Ms. Sebastian stated, People are questioning what is the reason for this, they need to study history, read books about different parts of the world, get acquainted with the original literary and artistic works of the writers and artists, musicians from those places. In the information age, the mainstream news channels are not the only source of information, there are many, but it takes time to look into it. Many people around the world have been asking this question: "How Did We Get Here?" and the answer to it depends on how much you know about life and to know this world, one has to know more about themselves.
lyrics
How Did We Get Here?
What do you know about life?
Old times to now where
When changes come you don't know why
Now would you let them
Do whatever they want?
Would you regret then?
If you didn't help at all?
Do you know
The story goes
There was a time
The earth was like
A paradise
The more you know
The more you might
Open your eyes
When you find
What they can't deny
All the books in stone
Stories we are told
Of the wars and love
When you see
Writings on the walls
Kingdoms rise and fall
History unfolds
Through the heat and snow
In the mountains
By the sea
Where the words are flying high
Songs of freedom
They will live
Generations worth of time
When the people write their story
Through their legends and their myths
Don't let hypocrites destroy it
Keep the sacred memory
How can we make it
A better way in our time?
The world is changing
So keep your eyes on the signs
Do you feel stronger
When seeing true legends be right?
Don't take any longer
To be the change of our times
Do you know
The story goes
There was a time
The earth was like
A paradise
The more you know
The more you might
Open your eyes
All around
In the world we see
Greatness was achieved
Monuments were built
With the mind and not greed
If you want
To make something last
Like in distant past
Need to get it right fast
Wisdom coming at last
In the mountains
By the sea
Where the words are flying high
Songs of freedom
They will live
Generations worth of time
When the people write their story
Through their legends and their myths
Don't let hypocrites destroy it
Keep the sacred memory
